PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. – A near historic round by junior Josh Dugard sparked Francis Marion University to an afternoon rally as the Patriots closed Monday in sixth place at the Temple University Men’s Golf Invitational Tournament.

The 54-hole event included 36 holes on Monday and will conclude with the final round on Tuesday beginning at 7:40 a.m. at The 1912 Club course, a 6,951-yard par-70 layout. FMU golfers will tee off starting at 9:50 a.m.
Francis Marion carded a 291 team score during Monday’s morning round, but rebounded to register the lowest team score of the afternoon round (267) and moved up six positions in the team standings to sixth place.
Drexel University holds a one-stroke lead over Lehigh University at the top of the team standings.
