NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Clarksville man has been arrested in connection with a deadly crash that occurred on Interstate 24 in April.

According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, the Traffic Division's investigation revealed 30-year-old Inderjit Singh was driving a Nissan Altima at over 100 miles per hour during the crash that occurred on April 9 on I-24 Westbound with a tractor-trailer, resulting in the death of his 42-year-old relative — later identified as Pritam "Peter" Singh.

Police said the tractor-trailer was traveling westbound on I-24 in the right lane and moved to the left lane upon approaching a broken-down vehicle pulled over on the road's right shoulder.
