There were 98 offenders living in Peoria County who were released on parole during the second quarter of 2025, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Peoria Standard.
Of the parolees, 91 were men and seven were women, with a median age of 37. Among them, there was one veteran. The youngest parolee was a 20-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2025, and the oldest was a 64-year-old man sentenced for a crime against a person in 1993.
The offender incarcerated the longest was Melvin Hampton. He was convicted of a crime against a person in 1993 when he was 32 years old. He is now 64.
