Gannon University hosted a career development event aimed at connecting students and alumni with potential employers, emphasizing networking as a key to career success.
The event, organized by university faculty, was designed to meet attendees at various stages of their career journey.
"I hope they just meet someone today, honestly, the best way to get a job in this job market right now is networking and who you know," said Carly Masiroff, Assistant Director of Career Preparation.
Many students attended the event with hopes of finding employment opportunities as they approach graduation. Gavyn Hansotte, a biomedical engineering master's student, expressed his intentions to connect with employers and practice his networking skills.
