MARION — One year after her son's death, Amanda Miller continues to give back to children fighting through the same battles he did.

Miller is the president of the Jamir Strong Legacy Foundation, a non-profit recently formed in honor of her seven-year-old son Jamir Gibbs. He was diagnosed with leukemia in May 2022 and died on Sept. 2, 2024.
