GRAPEVINE, Texas — A piece of childhood is now open at a North Texas mall just in time for the holiday season.

Toys “R” Us has officially opened its doors at Grapevine Mills, marking another return of the iconic toy retailer to North Texas.

The new store, located near Converse, offers shoppers aisles filled with the latest must-have toys alongside timeless classics.

The Grapevine location is part of Toys “R” Us’ wider expansion strategy . The company has been steadily rebuilding its physical presence after filing for bankruptcy in 2017 and undergoing liquidation. In 2021, WHP Global purchased the brand and began rolling out initiatives to bring back its stores across the U.S.
