San Antonio's Monarch Butterfly and Pollinator Festival is spreading its wings again in Brackenridge Park. The free event is celebrating its 10th anniversary on October 18 with a day of hands-on fun, education, and community engagement for Alamo City nature lovers.

The milestone year celebrates the notable migration of the monarch butterfly and the critical role pollinators play in our ecosystem. The festival started after San Antonio earned the distinction of being the first Monarch Butterfly Champion City in the U.S. after signing the Mayor's Monarch Pledge in 2015, an initiative to protect monarch butterflies and their habitats.
