CHARLESTON, S.C. (WOLO)– A Charleston judge is accused of possessing child sexual abuse material.
According to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, James Gosnell was involved in multiple financial transactions with a known distributor of child sexual abuse material.
Investigators say during a search warrant they found a flash drive containing images including children as young as infants.
If Gosnell’s name sounds familiar, he presided over the trial of convicted Charleston church shooter Dylann Roof.
Federal investigators are hoping to identify additional victims.
