Sixty-four years after President John F. Kennedy called young Americans to public service, his grandson, internet loon Jack Schlossberg , may run for Congress in a bid to replace retiring Rep. Jerry Nadler in next year’s midterm election.

Young Schlossberg’s likely run shines a spotlight on the dilemma now haunting New York Democrats: The only potential candidates are hard-lefties, nepo babies, cranks and/or hacks.

For the last 30 years, Nadler has been the (ultra)liberal standard-bearer in blue New York.

He rose through the old-fashioned clubhouse ranks, albeit in the Upper West Side Dems’ reform wing; his handpicked successor comes out of the West Side Democratic Club: Assemblyman Micah Lasher.
