Fairbanks Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing woman.

Betty Ann Peter, 54, an Alaska Native woman who is deaf, has not been seen by her family in over a week. While she sometimes spends extended periods away from home, her family is concerned for her well-being.

Peter is known to frequent Golden Heart Plaza and other downtown Fairbanks areas. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact Officer Zheng at kzheng@fairbanks.gov
