Two tropical waves out in the open Atlantic are being monitored for further development over the next several days, forecasters say.
While neither will directly impact South Florida, one may bring wet weather and wind to Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, and one may develop into the next tropical storm or hurricane as it heads toward Bermuda.

The first wave, called AL93, is located hundreds of miles east of the Leeward Islands as of Tuesday night, according to the National Hurricane Center.
It will likely form into a tropical depression during the next couple of days while it moves into the western tropical Atlantic, well north of the Leeward Islands.
