The missing children of a woman found dead in Arizona were located more than 35 years after she was killed.

On Dec. 12, 1989, the body of a woman was found on Old Temple Bar Road off White Hills Road in Mohave County. She had been stabbed multiple times and her body was found nude in the desert, according to investigators. No suspects were identified at the time, according to the Mohave County Sheriff's Office.

The woman wasn't identified until 2022, when investigators obtained a DNA sample that was then entered into a national DNA database. She was eventually identified as 28-year-old Marina Ramos.

The last time Ramos was seen was with her 2-month-old daughter, Jasmin, and 14-month-old daughter, Elizabeth. The Special Investigations Unit had been searching for the daughters since 2023.
