CLEVELAND (WKBN) - Cleveland Guardians outfielder Lane Thomas will miss the rest of the 2025 season after undergoing right foot surgery to address plantar fasciitis.
Thomas is expected to make a full recovery and be unrestricted with all baseball activities in three to four months.
This season, Thomas battled multiple injuries and appeared in just 39 games for Cleveland. He posted a batting average of .160 with four home runs, 11 RBIs and four stolen bases.
He is slated to become a free agent this offseason.
