IOWA CITY (KWWL) – As the Iowa offense continues on a path of improvement one motto has helped lead the way. “Be the reason.” It’s a mantra brought in by offensive coordinator Tim Lester, and the Iowa offese lives it.

For senior lineman Logan Jones those words carry a lot of meaning.

“Be the reason we win. Be the reason we do things right,” said Jones during Tuesday’s press availability, “Be the reason for picking up a blitz that not a lot of people can pick up because it’s difficult. Be the reason that block is picked up. Dayton Howard making that huge play last week, he’s the reason we made that play and then got in the endzone.”
