ASHBURN, Va. — With starting quarterback Jayden Daniels nursing a knee injury suffered in the Washington Commanders ’ Week 2 loss, Marcus Mariota stepped up to the controls and drove the team to a dominant win over the Las Vegas Raiders.

Because of it, instead of clamoring for Daniels’ return, some are wondering if the Commanders might decide to rest their star quarterback a little more and let Mariota continue the revenge tour he says is anything but by facing the Atlanta Falcons this coming weekend.
