SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - The 5th annual Alex Cotton Memorial Ride drew 60 motorcyclists to Springfield over the weekend to raise awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer.

The event, which took place under warm weather conditions, saw participants ride from Springfield to the Quabbin Reservoir and back. This year's ride was the most attended yet, with a new car show and a BBQ dinner adding to the festivities.

The theme for this year's event was "2025: Keeping Your Memory Alive," honoring the late Alex Cotton, who passed away at 53 from pancreatic cancer. The ride and associated activities aim to keep his memory alive while supporting others battling the disease.
