OSU students have mixed feelings on Tuesday about the university parting ways with head football coach Mike Gundy.

Some students were shocked, others say, by the way the Cowboys started the season, they saw this move coming.

But everyone says Gundy leaves OSU as a legendary coach.

An unexpected start

Students at OSU didn't expect the football team to start the season 1-2.

"Seeing the plays, they were not matching up. I was very disappointed we could have done so much better," Adelyn Rodriguez, an OSU freshman, said.

Mixed reactions

Many students were in class when they learned Mike Gundy was fired after 20 years on the job.

"I was really surprised. I didn't expect that," said Rodriguez.

"It was about time," Catie Coffey, an OSU junior, said.
