WhatsApp is making it easier for people to communicate across different languages with a new feature: message translations. This feature allows users to translate messages in their chats, making conversations with friends, family or groups more seamless, even when they speak different languages.

With this update, if you receive a message in a language you don’t understand, you can now long-press the message and tap Translate. You can then select the language you want to translate from or to.
