The Supreme Court will hear the allegations of 13 women officers of the Indian Army's Short Service Commission (SSC) on Wednesday. Additional Solicitor General Aishwarya Bhati will present the central government's side in court.

On September 18, the women officers presented their case before the bench of Justice Suryakant, Justice Ujjal Bhuyan, and Justice N Kotiswar Singh. They stated that they have been discriminated against in granting Permanent Commission compared to male officers.
