Two people have been charged by Delaware County prosecutors with murder in connection to a 2014 cold case.

Twenty-year-old Dustin Carver was last seen in early 2014, and investigators say his remains were found in a burn pile in Kansas, OK.

The OSBI says it was contacted by law enforcement in Clinton County, Missouri, with new leads about this case.

Investigators say they were able to get information from James Larson that led them to believe he and Penny Larson were responsible for Carver’s death.

Penny Larson was arrested and booked into the jail in Clinton County, Missouri.

James Larson was already in custody in Missouri on unrelated charges.
