AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - Minor League Baseball announced Amarillo Sod Poodles’ Tommy Troy, LuJames Groover and Mitch Bratt as 2025 Texas League All-Stars on Tuesday.

Troy, the highest ranked prospect in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization to receive the honor (5th) played just 87 games with the Sod Poodles before he was called up to Reno in August 2025.

In his time with Amarillo, he batted 0.286 while scoring 56 runs, hitting 12 homeruns and grabbing 34 extra-base hits. Also, his 21 stolen bases was good for the second-best on the team.

Groover, who is not too far behind Troy in the prospect rankings at #10, was a star for the Sod Poodles all season long.
