ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – You will notice major changes along a stretch of Central Ave., and it's a project aimed at protecting pedestrians on what the city of Albuquerque calls a dangerous road. The city is adding black fencing along medians on Central Ave., saying too many people die trying to cross the road. So far, one fence has been added near Wyoming Blvd., and more are to come.
