The annual University of Lethbridge Pronghorns tripleheader on Saturday at the university’s Community Sports Stadium was an overwhelming success.

The Horns hosted both a women’s and men’s soccer games and concluded with a women’s rugby game, which accumulated the best crowds the event has seen.

“It was our most well-attended event with over 1,400 people in attendance on Saturday, which is about 100 more people than we’ve previously seen,” said Taylor Penney, manager of community engagement and alumni relations for Pronghorn athletics.

Earlier advertising was key for more people to attend.
