LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — A fire has broken out at a solar site in Boulder City Tuesday evening.

The Boulder City Police Department said the fire was reported at Townsite Solar around 7 p.m. The site is about 15 miles southeast of Henderson on Veteran’s Memorial Highway.

Boulder City Fire Department and Henderson Fire Department are on scene working to put out the flames.

It is unclear at this time if there is any property damage.

No other details were released at this time. Police said to avoid the area.
