WILSON — UNC Pembroke allowed just four total shots and used two second-half goals en route to yet another clean sheet, picking up a 2-0 road win over Barton in Conference Carolinas play Tuesday evening at the Barton Outdoor Athletics Complex.
Eugenie Amidou and Reagan Carr each scored a goal for the Braves.
The shutout was the fourth straight for the Black & Gold, who have given up just a combined 11 shots on goal across the streak.
The Braves (4-2-0, 4-0-0 CC) improved to 16-3-2 in the all-time series with the Bulldogs (2-4-0, 1-2-0 CC).
Amidou’s free kick from 30 yards out snuck past the Barton goalkeeper to give the Braves a 1-0 lead in the 51st minute.
Carr collected a loose ball in front of the net in the 88th minute and redirected it home to make it 2-0.
