Statue of Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya unveiled

Bhopal: Water Resources Minister Tulsiram Silawat on Tuesday unveiled a statue of Bharat Ratna Sir M. Visvesvaraya, hailing engineers as crucial partners in realizing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed and self-reliant India. Speaking at the ceremony, Silawat paid tribute to Visvesvaraya, a “visionary and highly skilled engineer,” and urged the engineering community to emulate his dedication.

The minister underscored the significant progress made in water engineering under Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, noting that Madhya Pradesh leads the nation in water conservation. Silawat also announced an annual award to honor five outstanding engineers for their contributions.
