The Worcester Red Sox wrapped up their 2025 season on Sunday with a 9-8 win over the Rochester Red Wings. They also celebrated by giving out some hardware.

Not surprisingly, Jhostynxon Garcia received team MVP honors . The 22-year-old outfielder dominated in 81 games with Worcester after being promoted from Portland, batting .271/.334/.498 with 18 home runs, 12 doubles, 60 runs, 58 RBI and three stolen bases.

Garcia — the organization’s No. 3 prospect according to MLB Pipeline — even earned a cup of coffee with the Red Sox , appearing in five games for Boston in late August. He received just nine plate appearances, but still managed to notch his first Major League hit (a double) in his final game before being sent down.
