LOUDONVILLE, NY (NEWS10) -- The Siena women's basketball team held it's first official practice on Tuesday.
The new-look Saints welcome in 11 new players, only bringing back three players from last year. The team features seven transfers and four freshman.
While it might take some time to gel, head coach Terry Primm believes he has the players to make it work. "When you recruit them, you're hoping that you're recruiting to the culture and to the system," said Primm. "The transition can be smooth when you get it right there. We were looking for kids who love the game, who want to be 1% better kind of people, who see this as a blessing to be in this building and to represent a great place like Siena and I think we found that.
