PHOENIX — Five people were shot Tuesday night near 24th Street and Southern Avenue, with three victims in critical condition, Phoenix police said.

Officers responded to the shooting just after 9:00 p.m. and found three adult men with gunshot wounds in critical condition, according to a police statement. Two other adults also suffered gunshot wounds.

The Phoenix Fire Department transported the victims for medical treatment.

Detectives are investigating the shooting and processing the scene. Police have not released information about suspects or what led to the shooting.
