Employee Hospitalized After Vehicle Smashes Through Storefront

Westchester authorities are investigating after a car plowed into the front of an Amazon Fresh grocery store Monday night, injuring an employee, according to a Los Angeles Fire Department alert.

The crash occurred around 8:00 p.m. at the store on the 6800 block of South La Cienega Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police and Fire departments.

A 36-year-old cashier was struck during the incident and taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries, where she was listed in fair condition. The driver was not hurt, officials said.
