OCALA, Fla. (WCJB) - Marion County Sheriff’s officials are paying tribute to a master sergeant who died in his sleep Monday night.
Deputies say Master Sergeant Richard Kelly made an impact on many lives.

Kelly started with the sheriff’s office as a corrections assistant in 2008.
He rose through the ranks and became sergeant in 2020 and then master sergeant in June of this year.
