Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday emphasized that unity among backward classes, Dalits, and minorities is crucial to gain political power and protect the Constitution.
In a statement shared on his WhatsApp channel, Yadav, underlined that the Pichhda, Dalit, Alpsankhyak (PDA) movement is about empowering those who have historically faced exploitation and oppression.

Yadav described PDA as a unity born out of a shared consciousness and collective feeling against the exploitation and oppression of marginalized communities.
“PDA is basically the name of that unity born out of consciousness and common feeling against the exploitation, oppression, and neglect of ‘backward, Dalit, and minority’,” he said. The PDA movement aims to bring together people from every
