New Delhi: Bentley announced that their current lineup, the Continental GT, Flying Spur, and Bentayga, will continue to offer petrol engines. While the majority of car brands included in the category of luxury car competitors of Bentley, such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Porsche, are introducing their existing cars with reborn EV variants, Bentley chooses to remain unchanged.

Bentley CEO Frank Steffen Walliser told Autocar UK that Bentley is all set to produce pure petrol as the next in line of these models. However, the company is planning to launch (PHEV) plug-in hybrid or EV versions of those cars. Though the CEO’s announcement is a hint that they are not interested in PHEV or EV and came up with a pure petrol version instead.
