Punjab News: Paddy Crop of Farmers in Several Villages of Sangrur Hit by Chinese Virus Latest News: The paddy crop has been severely affected by a virus in several villages of Punjab, causing the plants to dry up instead of ripening.

In Kila Bhariyan village of Sangrur, farmers reported that around 100 acres of paddy have shown signs of being affected by the so-called ‘Chinese virus.’ Instead of maturing, the crops are drying up, they said. It is clearly visible in the fields that while one part of the crop is ripening, the plants impacted by the virus are continuously withering away.
