When the Star Wars Battlefront series had its reboot in 2015, it’s fair to say that it was a game that had so much promise, but evidently, underdelivered.
Sure, its multiplayer was fine for the most part, but it lacked depth, which was a major problem, because Star Wars Battlefront had no single-player campaign (and no, I’m not counting those tacked-on missions), and it was a full-priced game.
Then, in 2017, Star Wars Battlefront II not only delivered a fun single-player campaign, but its multiplayer modes also had a lot more depth, character customisation, and a decent amount of post-launch content updates.
