The Lenoir-Rhyne women's soccer team cruised to a 2-0 win against Emory & Henry on Saturday.

The win extends the Bears win streak to five. Lucia Hidalgo capitalized on a first-half penalty kick to put the Bears on the board. Katie Durham collected her third goal of the season off a corner kick in the second half to cement the win.

LR held the Wasps to just three shot attempts while the Bears had 23 shots, 11 of which were shots on goal. Riley Miller logged her third shutout of the season in goal.

Hidalgo and Durham have been at the forefront of the Bears' offensive attack all season. Hidalgo has four goals and an assist over the first six games of the season while Durham has three goals and three assists.
