Benjamin Nygren is looking forward to experiencing the famous Rajko Mitić Stadium atmosphere when Celtic take on Red Star Belgrade in the Europa League.

The Hoops are in Serbia to get their league phase campaign under way against the former European champions on Wednesday night.

Sweden international Nygren, who moved to Parkhead in the summer, is keen to sample the noise created by the Serbian fans, but insists the Celtic players won’t be intimidated as they play in front of similar every second week when they are at home.

Brendan Rodgers’ side dropped into the continent’s second-tier competition after a penalty shoot-out defeat to Kairat Almaty in Kazakhstan, but Nygren insists they are now fully focused on the future rather than looking back at what could have been.
