The Warren Hills field hockey team ’s senior night festivities were upended Tuesday night.

First by the Blue Streaks’ Pennsylvania-based opposition, Easton, which scored twice in the first 20 minutes of the game, and then by mother nature.

With 8:24 left in the second quarter, a lightning strike led to the game being temporarily suspended before it was ultimately postponed to a date and time to be determined.

“Another strong competitor so it’s awesome to have Easton back on the schedule,” Warren Hills coach Erika Chesniak said. “They’re quick, they’re low so we’ve gotta be stick-to-stick passing and watch out for their strong push offensively.”
