Tennessee Businesses Against Trafficking (TBAT) hold summit on in Nashville to promote business involvement in the effort to stop human trafficking.

A Sept. 22 summit, to promote a state partnership with Tennessee businesses to fight human trafficking, provided a plethora of staggering statistics and traits of a criminal enterprise that hits all 95 counties.

Statistics like:

99.6% of trafficking victims worldwide are never identified.

11-15 is the average age traffickers target.

But it was the human side spoken by several trafficking survivors that spoke the loudest even when soft voices sometimes gave way to tears at the Tennessee Businesses Against Trafficking (TBAT) Summit at the Tennessee State Library and Archives in Nashville.
