Story County and Boone voters will decide who will serve on their local school boards in the Nov. 4 election.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. Early voting begins Oct. 15 and lasts through Nov. 3. The last day to submit a request for a mailed ballot is Oct. 20.

Sept. 18 was the last day for candidates to file to be on the November ballot. According to the Story County and Boone County auditor's offices, here is a list of who is running in each area school board race.

Who is running in Ballard’s school board election?

Two candidates are running unopposed for vacant seats on the Ballard Community School District school board.

Amanda Philgreen of Huxley is running for the at-large seat, and Benjamin Jensen is on the ballot for District 3. Stacey Noe and Darin Woh
