Kalaweloilehua Chock and Sauimoana Purcell drilled 17 kills each as No. 4 Kamehameha made a huge turnaround in Set 3 en route to a 25-18, 19-25, 29-27, 25-15 win over No. 3 Punahou on Tuesday night at Kekuhaupio Gymnasium.

Chock added four aces and a team-high 17 digs as the Warriors improved to 5-3 in ILH play (26-7 overall). Punahou dropped to 5-4 (14-9 overall) in the first match for both teams since returning from the Durango Fall Classic in Las Vegas.

“I feel very good. This is a crucial game for us in the first round,” Chock said.
