TRAVERSE CITY — Two sites in Traverse City’s Warehouse District will get $1 million from the state Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy for demolition, cleanup or both.

The money will go to 207 Grandview Parkway and 229 Garland Street, according to an EGLE press release. The first is set to become 20 condos with retail space, while the second will be developed as retail space and a parking garage. Along with asbestos abatement in the second, the grant will pay to remove contaminated soil, along with other environmental work.
