BOSTON —

One person was hospitalized after an officer-involved shooting early Wednesday in Boston's Beacon Hill neighborhood.

Boston police said an officer was involved in a shooting just after 6 a.m. at 97 Mount Vernon St.

One person was taken to a hospital, according to Boston EMS.

Video from the scene showed yellow police tape marking off an area of the street.
