BRUNSWICK, Ohio -- Whipped cream and pudding make a very sloppy -- but tasty -- mess when they become a “pie” eagerly pushed into someone’s face.
And it was all about pies in the face for a great cause Sept. 22 at Brunswick VFW Post 9520.
For almost a year, Troop 518 Eagle Scout Jaxon Fransee and Silver Award Girl Scout Isabella “Izzy” Heinbaugh-McCroskey have been collecting tabs from aluminum cans to raise money for Ronald McDonald House.
Both Scouts have been active with veteran services, and Scoutmaster Chris Altman was more than happy to participate in the fun.
The idea was that the Scout who collected the most pounds of tabs would be able to splatter the loser with a pie in the face.
