Nasa launched three cutting-edge spacecraft aboard a single Falcon-9 rocket, aiming to uncover new insights about the Sun, Earth’s outer atmosphere, and ever-changing space weather.

The landmark mission lifted off from Kennedy Space Center at 5:00 pm IST on September 24, marking a major stride in space science and planetary protection.

The coordinated launch saw three separate observatories — Interstellar Mapping and Acceleration Probe (IMAP), Nasa’s Carruthers Geocorona Observatory, and NOAA’s Space Weather Follow-On–Lagrange 1 (SWFO-L1) — all head toward space atop a SpaceX Falcon 9.
