Gogglebox has ignited a flurry of Ofcom complaints , leading viewers to threaten a boycott of the show.

The episode aired on Friday, 19 September, featured the reality stars and armchair critics discussing Tommy Robinson's Unite The Kingdom rally .

As the conversation veered towards current affairs, viewers were left unimpressed .

Ofcom has since confirmed that it received 53 complaints, with a spokesperson stating: "The majority of complaints related to comments made during a segment about the Unite the Kingdom march, which complainants felt were biased."
