JAMESTOWN — A broken ankle didn't stop Lucy Falk from playing volleyball.
Well, not completely.
Falk, a junior at Jamestown High School, broke her ankle in the middle of July playing volleyball at a camp
"I was frustrated because I knew it was going to prevent me from playing for a while," Falk said. "For a couple weeks I was on crutches and then remained in a boot for a while after."
In order to get back in competing shape, Falk opted to go to physical therapy a couple times a week. Outside of her therapy sessions, she would perform exercises on her own to help her recovery.
While she was still healing at the start of the season, Falk was still practicing with the Blue Jays.
