GLENVILLE — A training facility for local firefighters took a major step forward this past week after lingering for years.

Glenville lawmakers last week approved a $96,827 contract with Lion First Responder PPE to purchase hose line training apparatus and other props for the emergency fire training facility located at 1725 Vley Road Extension.
