Jackson Arnold’s return to his former home didn’t go as planned.

Auburn, his new team, lost to Oklahoma 24-17 last weekend, and Arnold was sacked nine times. It was a game of missed opportunities for Arnold and Auburn’s offense, but the junior quarterback has already turned the page to Auburn’s next challenge, a top 10 road matchup against Texas A&M.

“It sucks, obviously, losing a game like that in the fashion,” Arnold told reporters on Tuesday. “I think, for us, we’ve got one more game, and if we go into our bye week 4-1 and have two games from here against Georgia, that’d be ideal for us.”
