Less than two years after leading Wagner College to the NCAA Tournament, men’s basketball coach Donald Copeland is under investigation for the mistreatment of players and is currently serving a suspension, multiple sources with knowledge of the situation told The Post.

Copeland is being accused of verbally abusing several players and refusing them water breaks during strenuous practices.

Copeland has not yet been found responsible of the allegations, but multiple complaints were sent to school administrators at the Staten Island-based college that sparked he investigation, sources said.

Only two players returned from last year’s team, and sources said that was primarily the result of Copeland’s behavior.
